Booking and Check In Information

Do you have questions about booking your suite or the check in process? Let me know!

What is the check-in and check-out time?

Our standard check-in time is 4:00 PM, giving us the time we need to ensure your suite is spotless and ready for your arrival.


Check-out is by 10:00 AM so we can prepare the space for our next guests.


If you need a guaranteed early check-in, we recommend booking the night before your arrival and letting us know when to expect you the next day.


While we can offer some flexibility on a case by case basis, our team needs time between stays to maintain our high standards of cleanliness and comfort.

How does self-check in work?

After you get your booking confirmation, you'll receive directions to get to Wind Rose Suites. When you arrive, you'll have the codes you need to open the door to your suite.


After you park, locate your suite via the number on the door, input the door code, open the door and you're IN! Feel free to enjoy the snacks and beverages as part of your welcome kit.

Do you offer early check-in or late check-out options?

Yes, on a case-by-case basis!


We understand that travel plans don’t always align perfectly with standard check-in and check-out times, so we do our best to accommodate early check-ins and late check-outs when possible.


  • Earliest check-in: 1:00 PM
  • Latest check-out: 12:00 PM
  • Fee: $20 per extra hour


Availability depends on our booking schedule, as we want to maintain a 5-star level clean for your arrival and the arrival of our next guests so please reach out to us in advance to check if we can accommodate your request.


If you need to guarantee an early check-in, we recommend booking the night before your stay.


If you need a guaranteed late check-out, booking an extra night at the end of your stay will ensure you can relax without rushing.

Is there a minimum stay required?

We do have a minimum stay of 2 nights.

How old do I have to be to stay in your short term rental?

You must be 18 or over to book a suite at Wind Rose. We host families big and small, groups of friends, wedding guests, members of wedding parties, and couples.

What is the cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as fair and transparent as possible:

🗓️ For stays under 30 days:

  • Cancel 30 days or more before check-in for a full refund.
  • Cancel 7–29 days before check-in for a partial refund.
  • Cancellations made within 7 days of check-in are non-refundable.


📅 For stays of 30 days or more:

  • Cancel 30 days or more before check-in for a full refund.
  • After that point, the first 30 days of your stay are non-refundable.

Are the suites equipped with WiFi and smart TVs?

There is WiFi in your suite. When you arrive, please check the welcome book for the login information.


We also have Smart TVs in each of our suites! You can log into your favourite streaming apps and there are

Do you provide linens, towels, and toiletries?

Yes we do! Between every guest, we change the linens on the beds, and restock the linens for the sofa beds.


In the bathroom we have bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths as well as makeup towels.


We also have shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower, too.


PLUS we have a basket of commonly forgotten items like razors, toothbrushes, deodorant, and other toiletries, so if there's something you've forgotten to pack, you might just find it here!

Is there air conditioning or heating?

Yes! All of our suites are equipped with both heating and air conditioning to keep you comfortable year-round.


  • Suites 26 & 28 have state-of-the-art heat pumps that allow you to set your preferred temperature for both heating and cooling. Easy-to-follow instructions are provided in the suite.


  • Suites 22 & 30 are temperature-controlled by a central furnace system that provides heating in the winter and air conditioning in the summer.


  • Suite 22 is managed from the salon downstairs, so if you need any adjustments, just let us know—we’re happy to help!

Is there a washer and dryer available for use?

Yes! Each suite has its own in-suite washer and dryer for your convenience, and we provide detergent so you can easily do laundry during your stay.

I'm traveling for work. Do you have a dedicated workspace in the suite?

Yes! Each suite includes a dedicated workspace with a desk, providing a comfortable spot to work during your stay. In some suites, the desk is set up in the bedroom, while in others, it has its own separate space. With fast and reliable WiFi, you’ll have everything you need to stay productive while enjoying a relaxing and stylish environment. 💻✨

Are the suites pet-friendly?

As a fellow pet owner, I know how important it can be to travel with your pet.


That is why I offer all four suites as pet-friendly spaces.


There is an extra cleaning fee for this, as we take extra care to ensure the suite is prepared for our next guests who may not have pets.

Is there a security deposit or any additional fees?

Security Deposits - We do not charge a security deposit.


Cleaning Fees - Our cleaning crew works hard to make sure that the suites are guest ready for you to enjoy your stay in comfort. Each stay we charge a fee to cover the cost of cleaning upon departure.

Are there any house rules to be aware of?

Yes! Our house rules are designed to ensure a comfortable, enjoyable, and respectful stay for all guests.


  • Quiet Hours: 10 PM – 8 AM. Please be mindful of noise levels inside and outside.


  • No Unregistered Guests: Only registered guests are allowed on the property overnight.


  • No Smoking or Vaping: Smoking or vaping is not permitted on the premises. A fee will apply if this rule is violated.


  • Food & Drink: Please enjoy meals in common areas—only water is allowed in bedrooms.


  • Furniture & Property Care: Be mindful when moving furniture for sleeping arrangements. Rearranging other furniture is not allowed.


  • Check-Out on Time: Late check-out is available upon request for a small fee (if our schedule allows).


  • Respect for Linens & Towels: Please use the black makeup towels provided to avoid staining white towels and sheets. Any heavily stained linens may incur a replacement fee.


  • Damages & Additional Cleaning: Any damage beyond normal use will be charged accordingly. Excessive cleaning needs may result in an additional fee.

Is there a quiet hours policy for the building?

Yes, this is included in our house rules, our quiet hours are 10 PM – 8 AM. Please be mindful of noise levels inside and outside.


Since we are downtown, it is normal to hear a bit of sound common to an urban area, but it should not be something that consistently disturbs your sleep.


If you are an extremely light sleeper, we always recommend packing ear plugs as it can be difficult to sleep in a new place, regardless of noise.


During quiet time, please let us know if other guests are violating this house rule, so we can send them a reminder about the quiet hours, noting that accidents happen


We don't usually have issues with noise complaints, however you can call the non-emergency police line (included in the welcome book) to file a complaint should you need to.

Is the property located in a safe neighborhood?

It is an urban downtown environment, but I have been doing business in the same buildings here for over 25 years and haven’t had issues with safety.

What are some nearby restaurants, shops, and attractions?

With being located in a downtown city centre, there is limited parking available, however, with each suite, there is one complimentary space included with your reservation. You'll have sole access to that space and are welcome to use it for the duration of your stay.


If you need an extra parking space, please communicate that to me, and I will let you know if an extra space is available.


We do have guest parking available for a fee of $15 per night during your stay.

How far is Wind Rose Suites from Prince Edward County?

Most places in PEC are about a 30 to 50 minute drive away from Wind Rose Suites.

How far is Wind Rose Suites from Sandbanks Provincial Park?

Sandbanks is a 35 to 40 minute drive from Wind Rose Suites! We keep a provincial park pass in the suite in the summer months for you to use during your stay.

Do you provide access to local parks or beaches?

Yes! We provide an Ontario Parks Pass for guests to use during their stay, which allows you to reserve a day pass for one vehicle at nearby provincial parks, including Sandbanks Provincial Park and others in the area.


Important: Many parks have limited capacity and may turn away visitors who haven’t reserved a spot in advance. To ensure entry, we highly recommend booking your visit up to five days ahead online. 📅

We kindly ask that guests return the pass to the suite after use so future visitors can enjoy it as well. If you have any questions or need recommendations on the best parks to visit, we’re happy to help! 🌿🏖️🚗

Is parking available, and is there a fee?

Yes! Each suite includes one free parking spot as part of your reservation.


If you have multiple vehicles, you can request an additional parking spot for $15 per vehicle per night + HST, subject to availability.


Please let us know in advance if you need extra parking, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request! 🚗😊

Are the suites accessible for guests with mobility challenges?

Our suites are located in one of Belleville’s historic buildings, which sits on a hill, so all units include some measure of stairs.


  • Suite 26 has the fewest stairs, with steps between the two bedrooms/bathroom and the main living area.
  • Suite 22 is located upstairs at the back of The Cat’s Meow Salon.
  • Suite 30 is upstairs from Suite 26.
  • Suite 28 has five steps down leading to the kitchen.


While we strive to accommodate all guests, our building’s historic nature means that we are not fully wheelchair accessible.


If you have specific mobility concerns, please reach out—we’re happy to help determine if one of our suites will be a comfortable fit for your stay! 😊

Is housekeeping available during my stay?

For stays under 30 days, we do not offer housekeeping during your stay, but we provide cleaning supplies (including a mop, broom, dustpan, and cloths) so you can keep the space fresh and tidy.


For stays of 30 days or longer, guests can request bi-weekly housekeeping services, which will be done while they are away from the suite. This service must be requested in advance.

Is there a place to store luggage if I arrive early or depart late?

Unfortunately, we do not offer luggage storage at this time. If you arrive early or need to check out later, please reach out to us—we may be able to accommodate an early check-in or late check-out for a small fee, depending on availability.

Do you accommodate group bookings or wedding parties?

Yes! We are located right next to Venue 1906, which hosts weddings, reunions, and special events, making Wind Rose Suites the perfect place for your group to stay together.
