Activities in Belleville, Ontario
Sports & Wellness Centre
265 Cannifton Road, Belleville
The centre is known for hosting public swims every day of the week; the schedule can be found here. The cost is $3/person (kids under 3 are free), or you can purchase a 10-visit pass for $25. In addition to a main pool and therapy pool, there is a preschool pool with beach entry, a slide, and splash features that is heated to 90 degrees!
Glanmore Historic Site
257 Bridge Street East, Belleville
Travel Back in Time at Glanmore National Historic Site is Belleville’s Community Museum, featuring artifacts reflecting the history of the Belleville Region. Construction of this Second Empire home was completed in 1883 and has undergone extensive site restoration to accurately exhibit what the house would have looked like at that time.
Quinte Bowl
17 Roy Boulevard, Belleville
Steeeerike! Get retro with this nostalgic pastime that’s perfect for the whole family. Quinte Bowl in Belleville is open daily from 9 a.m. until way after bedtime. They have smaller balls for kids.
Zone Athletics

Zone Athletics hosts drop-in sessions at their Play Zone which has a fully sprung floor, Air Trak, ninja activity set, and so much more to help them get out extra energy & have fun at the same time!
Belleville YMCA Treehouse

Are the kids in playground withdrawal? The Treehouse at the Belleville YMCA may be the answer. For kids aged 1-10 years; it has small, medium, and large slides and climbing structures with fun obstacles to play around. Check out their treehouse schedule for more info!
Reid's Dairy

Reid’s Dairy is a fun & unique ice cream shop in the heart of Belleville. Reid’s Dairy can't be missed – it's built like a fairy tale castle with towers, spires, flags, etc. If that isn’t enough, let the ice cream draw you in. You can get cones, cups, sundaes, milkshakes, banana splits, & more.
Belleville Public Library

The Belleville Public Library offers kids activity kits for ages 0-10 and teen activity kits for ages 11-16 and is just a short puddle-jumping walk from Wind Rose Suites. Go as a family and read stories together too!
Quinte Mall

With more than 125 stores and services under one roof, the Quinte Mall is a good place to wait out storm clouds and get a little retail therapy. Lunch at the food court… perhaps a new outfit, coffee and a book?

National Air Force Museum

The National Air Force Museum of Canada gives you the opportunity to discover aviation history through a wide variety of exhibits, interactive activities and displays, including the fully restored World War II Halifax Bomber(one of a kind) and a 16-acre Airpark with both historic and active aircraft.

Prince Edward Fitness and Aquatic Center

The Prince Edward Fitness & Aquatic Center runs public swims on Thursdays from 7-8:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 1-3 p.m., and on the third Tuesday of the month from 7-8:30 p.m. (call or check website to confirm schedule and fees).
Beacon Bike
and Brew

Beacon Bike & Brew (188 Main St, Picton) is a wonderfully family-friendly cafe with delicious treats and a welcoming kids’ play space. Let the kids play while you have a cup of your favourite tea, coffee, cold brew or something to eat!
Public Skating
Take the kids skating for free at the Prince Edward Community Centre or Wellington & District Community Centre during public skate times – the schedule can be found here. Helmets are mandatory for kids aged 5 years and under, and BYO skates!

In every suite, you have access to all your streaming services - just log in and access any of your TV Shows or Movies (remember to log out when you leave).
We also have a small collection of board games in every suite and in Suite 26, we even have some books you can read.
Absolutely, these are just some of the places that I know and like in the area. These are great places to start on a rainy day journey if you prefer not to get wet.
There are so many wonderful places you can discover in the area.
Check if there are kid friendly events at downtownbelleville.ca/events, or do some research to find local day camps for kids. There are many family friendly activities in the area. I hope you enjoy your time here!
I have items like baby gates and a pack and play available to rent during your stay if you'd like to pack a little lighter.
There is shade tent, umbrellas, chairs, coolers, blankets and so much more that you could bring to the beach with you.
