Here's an important message from Ontario Parks:
Last year, more than 80% of visitors told us they liked being able to reserve their daily vehicle permit in advance.
That’s why we’re offering this service at even more of our busier day-use parks in 2022.
This year, you will be able to get your daily vehicle permit in advance at 33 provincial parks.
You don’t want to spend your time sitting in a line-up at park gates, only to be turned away because your favourite park is already full.
This new service will provide you with guaranteed access for your day trip.
By obtaining a day-use permit before visiting one of our parks, you can plan ahead and guarantee entry for every visit – allowing you to spend more time on the beach or trails, without having to worry about being turned away because a park has reached capacity.
The following local parks are participating in this pilot:
Algonquin, North Beach, Presqu’ile, Sandbanks
As a seasonal permit holder, your daily vehicle permit will always be free of charge, just be sure to have your seasonal permit serial number handy when obtaining your daily vehicle permit. Just like daily vehicle permits, accessing a park with a seasonal permit is subject to park capacity limits. Plan your visit with confidence by booking in advance.
